Here's the Refreshed 2024 Kia Seltos

The 2024 Kia Seltos has just been presented to us with one of the most significant updates for the model yet. Therefore, it feels almost like an entirely new model.
- A new off-road-oriented design X-Line trim has been added to the Seltos lineup.
- The 1.6-liter turbo 4-cylinder power has been increased from 170 to 195 hp.
- Both interior and exterior have the benefits of a massive makeover.
With its bold design, dynamic driving experience, and accessible price point, the Seltos has quickly become one of Kia's best-selling vehicles. The Korean subcompact SUV's popularity should be increasing even faster now that it received such a radical update.
As for the exterior, the proportions are about the same. The 2024 Kia Seltos shows a larger tiger nose grille and now offers full-projection-LED headlamps. The front and rear bumper designs have been updated with a more angular shape. The 2024 Seltos also gets new taillights that give the back end a new signature design. For the rest, the 2024 Seltos offers new wheel designs for most trim and an available new color named Pluton Blue, which happens to be the colors shown in the presentation model.
Where the 2024 Kia Seltos feels like an entirely new vehicle in its cabin, the classic two-part console/dashboard has been replaced with an available massive screen combining a 10.25-inch digital display for the dashboard and a 10.25-inch display for the infotainment system. The interior design now focuses on a horizontal design more than a center-oriented design.
A brand-new X-Line trim
There comes the X-line trim level in the Kia Seltos lineup for 2024. Not to be confused with the X-Pro version you find on some other brand models, the X-line is more oriented on design features than actual off-road characteristics. Therefore, the 2024 Kia Seltos X-line gets an exclusive front grille, unique 18-inch wheels, a black bridge-type roof rack, gloss black door garnish, and X-line badging.

The 2024 Kia Seltos will continue to offer the 2.0-liter 4-cylinders as a base engine. This motor's power remains the same, with 146 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque for 2024. The 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinders increased by 20 hp compared to the last-year model. The power will now be 195 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. This motor also dropped the 7-speed automatic for a brand-new 8-speed automatic gearbox. The 2.0-liter is available with either a two or four-wheel-drive drivetrain, whereas the 1.6-liter comes standard with a four-wheel-drive.
The 2024 Kia Seltos should arrive on the market in 2023's first quarter. Prices should be available anytime soon.
